Trust the Process

It is more challenging than I had anticipated to attempt a daily blog. I am still not comfortable with the format, nor frankly, wh

at I have to share. My daily practice and time in reflection does not translate too well. This internal struggle has kept me from sharing as frequently as I had envisioned. So, for now, I have decided to let much of that go, to trust the process and to simply write when I do.
My daily mantra is something that I would like to share. I can’t recall where I first saw it or the author. A google search did find the quote but again without the original author. At any rate, here it is:
Nothing happens without a purpose. Whether we attract success or repel it depends on our willingness to stay open to a wide range of possibilities and to embrace concepts like synchronicity. The universe is always ready to care for our needs, but we must not write off its loving attention as mere circumstance or changes. Likewise, we must endeavor to ensure that our egos do not become a barrier that prevents us from recognizing that even perceived mistakes and strife can be profound lessons that smooth the progress of personal evolution. When we understand that we only need to enthusiastically try our best to realize our objective, the universe will take care of the details, propelling us forward in its unstoppable current. We may not always immediately understand the significance of certain experiences, but our trust will help us choose wisely at each crossroads.
Reciting these words can be very centering for me. It is a great reminder that I just need to do my best and to let go. Mistakes and strife will happen. My role is to learn.
Originally, I had started this website as a requirement to be a reseller. My intent was to sell CBD products. In my mind it made so much sense. I had heard of the many benefits CBD offers and being a reseller was a passive way to make income as I was easing into retirement. Where I got derailed, is in selecting a brand to sell. CBD has not been something that I have used a lot of. Living in Colorado I was much more familiar with cannabis and CBD vs. CBD on its own. Over the past few months, I have been sampling various CBD brands, but I am not yet ready to become a reseller. While I am learning and deciding about any my future as a reseller, I am going to continue with the blog. The two things do not have to co-exist.
To determine if CBD is right for me and can really help with various ailments, I first must be aware of what needs attention within my body. General feelings of wellness are a bit hard to pinpoint. Believe me, I have tried. And will continue to do so. Meanwhile, I will work with my existing conditions and struggles. Right now, my most challenging health struggles are around menopause, particularly -- hot flashes, night sweats and weight gain. Anxiety and insomnia are other conditions for which I have sought medications and/or self-medicated in the past. I tend to have seasonal allergies too. Thankfully, I have not been on a lot of prescribed medications throughout my life. I did, and occasionally still do, suffer with migraines. They have significantly reduced since entering menopause. You win some, you lose some.
