Going with the Flow

Like so many people these days, I am feeling anxious. It is difficult to detach and let go enough to find the flow. General anxiety with external stressors (pandemic, election stress, various fires, and storms) is the new norm. We all seem to be suffering some form of it and are isolated. My personal anxiety stems from uncertainty and not being anchored to ‘work’. I thought it would be easier and natural to go with the flow in retirement.

We have been in Texas for 6 weeks! Not that long, yet these are COVID weeks. Time is warped. I am gradually working through my retirement angst as it relates to not working. Meanwhile, pursuing things that simply interest me bring me closest to feeling the flow. Some recent things include San Antonio’s startup week, the Hay House FLOW Summit 2020, and an herbalist course through the Centre Of Excellence. It is a hodgepodge, but it does reflect my interests. Blogging is another interest but so far it creates more anxiety than flow! I want to learn to overcome that.
